Life-Saving Skills for Parents

First Aid courses for Parents

This practical, four-hour life-saving skills course is designed for parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, and anyone caring for children – from infants to pre-teens. Delivered in English, it provides essential knowledge and confidence to handle potentially life-threatening emergencies involving babies and children.

Why take a First Aid course for children?

Even with precautions, accidents and sudden illness can happen anytime. Prompt, appropriate first aid can prevent a condition from worsening and is vital while awaiting medical assistance.

What will you learn?

Participants will gain life-saving skills, including how to:

  • Recognise and manage unconsciousness
  • Perform CPR on infants and children
  • Recognise gagging, choking, and drowning
  • Understand key prevention strategies

Who is it for?
This course is not only for parents but also for grandparents, nannies, childminders (Tagesmütter), teachers, and anyone responsible for babies’ and children’s safety and wellbeing
