Gender medicine is an emerging field: In the late 20 century, it started to address significant gaps in medical research and practice that resulted from a historical male-centric approach and gender bias.

Biological sex and socio-cultural gender influence health, disease presentation, treatment responses, and patient outcomes. It moves beyond a one-size-fits-all approach, striving for more personalised and effective care.

In this webinar, Lui will help you gain insight into

  • the fundamental principles of gender medicine
  • sex- and gender-specific differences in prevention and diagnosis
  • key differences in conditions and medication responses across emergency medicine, psychiatry, neurology and other fields of medicine
  • discover which strategies exist for integrating a gender-sensitive approach into clinical practice and health research

Note:

We run this webinar in German in cooperation with our partner creating space.
