Delivered in English, it provides essential knowledge and confidence to handle both serious medical emergencies and everyday illnesses involving babies and children.

- Perform CPR on infants and children
- Recognise gagging, choking, and drowning
- Understand key prevention strategies
- Respond to seizures, burns and scalds, and head injuries
- Respond to wounds and more serious bleeding injuries, sprains and broken bones
- Respond to daily illnesses such as fever, cough and colds

This course is not only for anyone working with and caring for children and babies, including nannies, au-pairs, childminders (Tagesmütter), teachers, and anyone else responsible for babies’ and children’s safety and wellbeing and prepares them for the many smaller and larger emergencies that can happen when caring for children.
